Canna Stream Solutions Ltd. (“CSS”), is pleased to announce that has completed exciting proof of concept work on the expansion of its green extraction technology. In collaboration with the Centre for Natural Products and Medical Cannabis at Loyalist College and supported by GreenCentre Canada, the CSS’ extraction technology was used to extract bioactive compounds from two nutraceutical plants (Echinacea and Rhodiola). The results demonstrated a 10-30 fold increase in extraction efficiency of major bioactive compounds compared to ethanol extraction. This allows CSS to expand the use and value of its patent-pending technology and potential revenue from licensing.

About Canna Stream Solutions Ltd.
CSS is developing critical technologies for storing, transportation and processing of cannabis waste (physical and chemical). Most notably, they have filed a US and Canadian patent application in the chemical extraction and fractionation of Cannabinoids and monoterpenes from cannabis flower and biomass utilizing their solvent technology that is significantly more efficient than ethanol. This gives CSS the ability to significantly manage costs of high throughput processing and extraction of cannabis and hemp biomass.
