EDMONTON, AB, January 16, 2023 – Canna Stream Solutions Ltd. (CSS) is pleased to announce that we have an agreement with Token Naturals Ltd. (Token Naturals, Token) to continue developing CSS’ cannabinoid extraction technology at their Edmonton Facility.
Under the agreement, CSS will continue to refine and improve its proprietary novel “Green” extraction technology, described in U.S. and Canadian patent applications “METHODS FOR PREPARING EXTRACTS FROM PLANTS AND FUNGI” (U.S. Patent Application No. 17/661,684 and Canadian Patent Application No. 3,157,074). In addition, this arrangement allows the development of other technologies for increased efficiency and decreased costs for processing and purification of cannabis biomass. Ultimately, once the technology is fully developed, CSS can commercially produce high-quality cannabinoid distillates.
This new working relationship is an exciting development that should allow CSS to begin commercial production of distillates and bring some of our other technologies to market with a commercial partner like Token Naturals, says CSS CEO Dr. Usukuma Ekuere.
“It’s always been Token’s mission to reduce the barriers to market entry and create greater access, and this partnership with Canna Stream Solutions allows us to help more people participate in the industry by reducing costs and increasing access to technology,” shared Token Naturals CEO Keenan Pascal. “We are looking forward to supporting Canna Stream with licensed space as they build their technology and product portfolio.”

About Canna Stream Solutions Ltd.
CSS is developing critical technologies for storing, transporting, and processing cannabis waste (physical and chemical). Most notably, they have filed a U.S. and Canadian patent application in the chemical extraction and fractionation of Cannabinoids and monoterpenes from cannabis flower and biomass utilizing a solvent technology that is significantly more efficient than ethanol. This allows CSS to substantially manage the costs of high throughput processing and extraction of cannabis and hemp biomass. For more information about the company, please visit www.cannastream.ca
